The Metro is an easy and inexpensive way to travel in and around Washington.  Most hotels in the city are Metro accessible. Your participants should also consider hotels near Metro stops in Virginia such as the Days Inn Crystal City, Hilton National Airport, Holiday Inn Eisenhower and the Embassy Suites

Crystal City or Embassy Suites Alexandria.  People traveling in from the North may want to consider hotels in Rockville or Silver Spring, Maryland.  Some hotels such as the Doubletree Alexandria and the Best Western Pentagon provide free shuttle service to Metro.  You should also check on parking at the Pentagon -- many large groups have parked there for events and used the Pentagon Metro stop to come into the city.  I don't know if you need permission -- you should check with the folks who issued the march permit.
